Effective commercial design requires an intuitive understanding of the products and patrons visiting the property and how to best present that project. ALA has the experience to study the scenarios behind pedestrian and vehicular movements, signage and monumentation, effective landscape, sight-lines and visibility issues. Landscape and hardscapes within commercial developments should complement the architecture, provide 'wayfinding' cues and invite patrons to explore further. The use of outdoor seating areas, dining areas, shopping and kiosks along with boulevard landscape treatments also lend to the projects 'sense of place'. The underlying goal is an 'experience' by the user which promotes the products and encourages the final sale. A brief list of these projects include: Lexus of Henderson, Rhumbar, MGM Monorail, Gilley's and The Mission Development Las Vegas.
Amenities designed by ALA as part of these projects include: Entry features and monumentation, streetscape plantings, decorative plazas and paving, outdoor dining venues, water-features/dry-features, fences/gates, gardens and landscaping, accent lighting and furniture.
