Communities are defined by their people and their built and unbuilt environments. ALA strives to design parks and civic spaces that foster community interaction, create a sense of place that engage its user and provide recreational opportunities for healthy lifestyles. Our staff has collectively worked on over thirty parks/civic spaces within the Las Vegas valley. These projects have been completed for the City of Las Vegas, City of Henderson, Clark County, City of North Las Vegas as well as private developers in Summerlin and Green Valley. These park spaces include award winning facilities such as: The Neon Boneyard Park, Majestic Park and Mountain Crest Park.

Program elements designed by ALA as part of these projects include: Sport courts and fields, parking lot layout, trails and walks, age-specific playgrounds, water splash pads, trail linkages, picnic areas, shade ramadas/shelters, fencing, landscaping and irrigation.
